Thesis

Anyone can build. Few build something that lasts.

Fikra is a studio and holding company for software, built for the long after. We work on a small number of programs at a time each one with a real customer, a real ledger, and a real operator.

In the age of AI the cost of producing software has collapsed. The companies that outlast this decade won't be the fastest builders they'll be the ones who do common things, uncommonly well.
A fikra (فكرة) is an Arabic word for an idea worth committing to. We take ideas worth committing to our own and a small number we adopt and walk them from a six-page memo to a real product with real customers.
Some of what we work on we wrote ourselves, like Masjid Fikra. Some we adopted from a single founder who'd taken it as far as one person can, like ScopeShield. Both deserve company, infrastructure, and patience.
What we believe

Three commitments.

01

A real customer in week six.

If we can't put a real human in front of the product within six weeks, the memo was wrong. We rewrite it or close it.

02

A founding operator, not a hand-off.

Every program has a person whose name is on it. Fikra stays as patient capital, distribution, and uncomfortable questions.

03

Built for the long after.

No three-year exit timelines. No engineered urgency. Programs that should last decades are run as if they will.
