Process

How a fikra ships.

From a six-page memo to a founding operator at the wheel. Three phases. Roughly seventeen weeks. Then patience.

01

Idea.

A six-page memo before a single line of code. The problem, the buyer, the wedge and what would make us wrong.

Weeks 1–4

02

Production.

A small crew of three to five. A real customer in week six. Honest weekly reviews. The first cheque before week ten.

Weeks 5–16

03

Launch.

A founding operator takes the wheel. Fikra stays as patient capital, distribution, and uncomfortable questions.

Week 17 →

The memo

Six pages, before a single line of code.

  1. PAGE 1
The problem. Whose day is broken, and how. In their own words.
  2. PAGE 2
The buyer. Who pays, what they sign, and what budget it comes from.
  3. PAGE 3
The wedge. The one feature that makes them switch in week one.
  4. PAGE 4
What would make us wrong. The kill criteria. We write them up front.
  5. PAGE 5
The next 12 months. What ships, what doesn't, who runs it.
  6. PAGE 6
The long after. Why this should still exist in ten years.
